- In 2017 Trump proposed a package would protect low-income policy holders from big rate hikes.
- It included $16 billion to pay flood claims.
- Along with $13billion for FEMA disaster relief efforts.
- A separate package came in order to support Hurricane relief for Puerto Rico awarding $3.7 billion to help rebuild Puerto Rico’s water treatment and $4.1 billion for fixed cost estimates.
