THE LIE: Trump is refusing to recognize climate change caused a deadly hurricane.
THE TRUTH: Climate change data does not back up a link between Hurricane creation and climate change.
This is a disgusting move by KamalaHQ to try and capitalize on a deadly hurricane and somehow blame Trump.
Here are the facts:
-The Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (which is used by Al Gore) reports that there has been no trend in either frequency or intensity of hurricanes.
-NOAA reports that in the Atlantic basin, there’s been a decrease in hurricane activity by 25%
-Data reports that over the course of history, there has been a decline in Hurricane activity since carbon emissions increased.
- Global hurricane data shows that over the past 40 years, there has been a decline in hurricanes.
-The scientific community has acknowledged that any data defending climate change causing hurricanes is at best “too early to tell.”
-Prior to 2016, not a single Hurricane made landfall in Florida for a record setting 11 years.
