LIE: Trump’s Project 2025 calls for cutting veterans health care.
TRUTH: This is a completely made-up lie considering Trump hasn’t even read Project 2025.
The Trump Campaign also just said they want to give veterans MORE healthcare options.
During a recent interview, JD Vance said he did *not* want the VA completely privatized but said veterans deserve more options.
“We need to give veterans more choice. Let's say you're in a rural hospital. Your closest VA is 120 miles away why force a veteran to drive 2 and a half hours to that VA facility when he can get cheaper and good care right in his backyard.”
“I do think that we ought to open up choice and optionality for veterans. I think that there is areas where the VA actually works very well so I wouldn't say get rid of the whole thing I would say give people more choice I think you'll save money in the process and you’ll also give veterans a lot more optionality.”
